FAQ

What does the text file contain?
Each page is separated by a "--- Page N ---" header, followed by all extractable text from that page.
Will scanned PDFs work?
Scanned (image-only) PDFs have no embedded text and will produce an empty or near-empty file. Use a PDF with real text layers.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Text extraction runs entirely in your browser using PDF.js. Nothing is sent to any server.
Is the formatting preserved?
Basic word order is preserved. Complex multi-column layouts may not reflow perfectly — the output is plain text.
